Oxford Mathematics
Team Challenge
The OMTC is a maths competition for students in Year 11, 12, or 13. We're trying to make a competition that makes fascinating maths feel approachable, even for students without experience with supercurricular maths or olympiad practice.
NOTE: this site is under construction!

TODO: Tell people that they can't register yet, but they should sign up for our mailing list.

The OMTC involves:
10:00am - 10:30am
Individual Round
The first round is a short warm-up round that students do individually.
It has 10 questions, but there's no points at stake.
11:05am - 11:50am
Lock-in Round
Two questions, each split into a number of parts. Each one is designed to deeply explore a new mathematical concept.
Intriguing!1:30pm - 2:30pm
Maps Round
A fun round where teams explore a 9x9 grid of questions. Connect a path of right answers to the center and score double!
Sounds fun!2:50pm - 4:10pm
Guts Round
The final and hardest challenge of the day - complete 9 increasingly difficult sets of problems, with a live leaderboard.
Tell me more!Throughout the day
...and more!
